Meeting

The twenty fifth regular meeting of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Council of Commissioners Bureau, chaired by Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, included the participation of the Vice Chairperson and the heads of the NIHR standing committees, and the Secretary General in attendance.

The meeting commenced with a discussion of several proposals related to upcoming events aimed at promoting awareness of human rights culture and addressing existing challenges. In this regard, the office reviewed a proposal to organize an event highlighting the regulations and standards related to migrant workers’ housing, with the participation of the relevant competent authorities. Additionally, a proposal was presented to implement an introductory and awareness program, in cooperation with civil society organizations, targeting individuals included in the Royal Pardon. The program aims to empower them to reintegrate into society in a positive and effective manner.
