NIHR council of Commissioners Convenes its 5th Meeting

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairperson of the National institution for Human Rights (NIHR), chaired the 5th meeting of the NIHR Council of Commissioners, in the presence of Dr. Fawzeya Al-Saleh, Head of the NIHR Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms, Dr. Malallah Al-Hammadi, Head of the NIHR Committee on Visiting Places of Detention and Facilities and Mr. Yasser Shaheen, NIHR Secretary-General.
During the meeting, the NIHR's Chaiperson reviewed his recent visit to the German Institute for Human Rights (GIHR), during which he introduced the role of the NIHR in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and discussed the possibility of exchanging expertise and knowledge, and cooperation in general in the field of capacity-building in issues related to human rights.
