Meeting

Chaired by Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, the Bureau of the Council of Commissioners held its second regular meeting, with the participation of the Deputy Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), the heads of the Standing Committees, the Child Rights Commissioner, and in the presence of the Secretary-General.

At the outset of the meeting, the Bureau discussed the frameworks and mechanisms for deepening and activating strategic partnership with civil society organizations, as an embodiment of the principle of cooperation and effective participation, and in order to strengthen bonds of trust between the National Institution for Human Rights and its various partner entities, particularly those concerned with human rights.
