NIHR Commissioners Bureau Convenes its 6th Regular Meeting

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National institution for Human Rights (NIHR), chaired the 6th meeting of the NIHR Commissioners Bureau in the presence of Mr. Khaled Al-Sha’er, NIHR Vice-Chairman and Head of the NIHR Committee on Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up, Dr. Fawzeya Al-Saleh, Head of the NIHR Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms, and Chancellor Yasser Shaheen, NIHR Secretary-General.

During the meeting, the participants reviewed the latest events of the NIHR for the coming period.  The NIHR’s Chairman also briefed the Commissioners the results of his participation in the International Conference on International Solidarity and Sustainable Development Plan 2030, which was held in Cairo, and which was organized by the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions in cooperation with the Arab Parliament, Office of the high Commission for Human Rights, (OHCHR) and the United Nations Development Plan (UNDP), where he explained that the NIHR participated in the 8th General Assembly of the Network, which was held on the sidelines of the International Conference, being a member to the Office of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions.
