NIHR’s Committee on Civil and Political Rights convenes its 10th Regular Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Civil and Political Rights convened its 10^th regular meeting under the Head of Dr. Badr Mohamed Adel and membership of Mrs. Dina Abdulrahman Al-Lazi and Mr. Ahmed Mahdi Al-Haddad. The meeting was held at the NIHR’s headquarters in the Seef District.

During the meeting, the Committee discussed the rules for the preparation of a special assessment form for the follow-up of parliamentary and municipal elections scheduled at the end of 2018, as well as a number of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals that fall within its mandate to work out a strategic plan for protecting and supporting them within the scope of human rights.
