General Rights and Freedoms Committee Convenes its 49th Regular Meeting

The Public Rights and Freedoms Committee held its 49th meeting, chaired by Dr. Fawziya Saeed Al-Saleh. The meeting commenced with a review of the outcomes of awareness lectures delivered by Committee members to students at several private schools. These lectures are part of the Committee’s ongoing efforts to promote human rights education among private school and university students and to raise awareness about NIHR, its mandate, and its prominent role in protecting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Committee also discussed the outcomes of various events in which its members participated as representatives of NIHR. In addition, the Committee reviewed updates on its previous decisions and recommendations, along with the actions taken to implement them.
