Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee holds its extraordinary first and second meetings

The NIHRs Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee in held its extraordinary first and second meetings under the chairpersonship of Ms. Maria Khouri. The meeting was attended by Committee members Dr. Hameed Ahmed Hussein and Dr. Mona Hijris.
During both meetings, the Committee reviewed and discussed the applications presented by families of some inmates to include them in the exemption from the remaining period, against whom freedom restricting judgments have been elapsed and those who satisfy the exemption conditions in preparation for presenting the same to the competent authorities. In addition, the form of the monitoring process was approved for all human rights related issues that the NIHR has either received or has become aware of through other different channels.
