Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-Up Committee holds its 19th meeting

The NIHR's Complaints, Monitoring and Following Up Committee held its 19th meeting, on Monday, 18th August 2014 under the chairpersonship of HE. Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Al Derazi. The meeting was attended by Committee members HE. Ms. Maria Entwan Khuri and HE. Dr. Badr Mohammed Adel.
During the meeting, the Committee reviewed all complaints and assistance requests received by the NIHR during the previous period and the measure taken regarding them. Five complaints were received, all of which were examined and the authorities concerned were contacted regarding most of these complaints to follow up on the developments in relation to such complaints.
In this regard, the Committee examined the complaints presented by a group of the medical staff and the developments that occurred concerning their reinstatement to the work after signing the tripartite agreement between the three parties of production on 10th March 2014 regarding the final settlement of the dossier of dismissed persons.
On the other hand, the NIHR received twelve assistance and legal advice requests and the committee made some decisions and recommendations which will be entered into force in due course. The Committee decided 15th September 2014 as the date for the next meeting.
