Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-Up Committee holds its 4th meeting

NIHR's Complaints, Monitoring and Following Up Committee held its 4th meeting, Monday, 20th May 2013 under chairpersonship of HE. Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Al Derazi. The meeting was attended by Committee's members HE. Mr. Ahmed Abdurrahman Al Sa'ati and HE. Ms. Maria Khuri.
During the meeting, the Committee approved the minutes of the previous meeting , reviewed the messages received by the Committee and discussed the events of the Committee's visit to some detention centers within Her Majesty's Inspectorate delegation for the imprisons in the UK in their program of visiting the UK during the period from 28th April – 02nd May 2013. In addition, the committee participated in the Arab Regional Forum on "transitional justice, challenges and opportunities" held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt during the period from 12th – 13th May 2013. Thereafter, the Committee discussed all complaints received by the Institution during the last period and the procedures taken regarding the same and concluded some recommendations will be presented to the meeting of the NIHR's Council of Commissioners to be held later this month.
