Meeting

The Complaint, Monitoring & Follow-up Committee of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) held its eighth meeting under the chairmanship of Ms. Rawdha Salman Al Aradi, as part of the Committee's ongoing efforts to fulfil its mandate relating to receiving complaints, monitoring the human rights situation, and following up on requests and observations submitted to the Institution.

During the meeting, the Committee reviewed reports on complaints and legal assistance requests received by the Institution, as well as cases monitored through media outlets and social media platforms since its previous meeting. A total of 56 cases were reviewed, encompassing complaints, requests for legal assistance, and monitoring cases. The Committee also discussed the measures taken in relation to these cases and reviewed the progress made in implementing its previous decisions and recommendations, along with the actions taken in this regard.
