Complaint, Monitoring & Follow-up Committee Holds Its Ninth Regular Meeting

The Complaint, Monitoring & Follow-up Committee of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) held its ninth regular meeting under the chairpersonship of Ms. Rawdha Salman Al Aradi. The meeting commenced with a review of the complaints, requests for legal assistance, and cases monitored by the Institution through the media and social media platforms since its previous meeting. A total of 34 cases were reviewed, comprising complaints and requests for legal assistance.
The Committee also discussed the measures taken by the Institution in relation to these cases and reviewed the decisions and recommendations issued during its previous meetings, assessing the progress made in their implementation to enhance the efficiency of complaint follow-up and ensure their timely handling.
As part of its commitment to engaging directly with complainants, members of the Committee met with a number of visitors, listened to their requests, and documented them in preparation for taking the necessary measures and coordinating with the relevant authorities to ensure appropriate follow-up in accordance with the applicable legal frameworks.
