Complaint, Monitoring & Follow-up Committee Holds Its Sixth Regular Meeting

The Complaint, Monitoring & Follow-up Committee held its sixth meeting under the chairmanship of Ms. Rawda Salman Alaradi. The meeting commenced with a review of the lists of complaints received by the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) since the previous meeting, in addition to cases monitored through media outlets and social media platforms, bringing the total number of cases to ten (10). The Committee also reviewed the measures taken in this regard, including informing complainants of the applicable legal procedures to be followed.

During the meeting, the Committee discussed its previous decisions and recommendations and examined the implementation steps taken in respect thereof, as part of its ongoing follow-up to ensure the proper conduct of work and to enhance the effectiveness of case handling.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the follow-up of all cases presented before it, in line with its mandate, and in a manner that strengthens the role of NIHR in protecting human rights and promoting the principles of justice and transparency.
