Complaint, Monitoring & Follow-up Committee Holds its First Procedural Meeting

The Complaint, Monitoring & Follow-up Committee held its first procedural meeting, chaired by Ms. Rawda Salman Alaradi, the head of the Committee. The meeting commenced with a review of the items on the approved agenda. Ms. Alaradi then presented an overview of its mandate and working mechanism, in accordance with Law No. (26) of 2014 establishing the National Institution for Human Rights, and the internal regulations governing the work of the Council of Commissioners.

During the meeting, a representative from the Complaints & Call Center at the General Secretariat delivered a detailed presentation on the procedures adopted for handling complaints and requests for assistance, as well as the methodologies for monitoring through various media outlets and social media platforms. The session also included a review and explanation of the approved complaint forms, which are considered a fundamental requirement for the acceptance of complaints, whether submitted directly by the complainant or through an authorized representative, and via all official channels of the Institution.
