Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee holds its tenth meeting

The Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee held its tenth regular meeting headed by Mr. Khaled Al-Shaer, Vice Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights, and membership of Mrs. Rawdha Al-Aradi and Dr. Hooreya Hassan. The meeting was held NIHR’s headquarters in the Seef District.
The committee opened its meeting by discussing earlier decisions and recommendations. It then proceeded with reviewing the statements related to the complaints received by the NIHR, legal aid provided, and the cases monitored through the media and social media since the last meeting. The Committee dealt with (113) complaints, legal assistance and monitoring cases during the mentioned period.
The Committee also reviewed the necessary arrangements to conduct a field visit to the Correction and Rehabilitation Center for prisoners in Jaw to examine their health status of the, and the availability of the necessary treatment for them.
