Meeting

Chaired by Dr. Mal Allah Al Hammadi, the Detention & Facilities Visitation Committee held its third regular meeting, during which it reviewed its previous decisions and recommendations, in addition to discussing its upcoming field plans, as part of its commitment to protecting fundamental rights and preserving human dignity without discrimination.

The Committee affirmed its full adherence to carrying out its mandates in accordance with the Law of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), through conducting regular announced and unannounced field visits to monitor the conditions of inmates and beneficiaries, and to assess the quality of services provided in line with national and international standards.
