NIHR’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities Convenes its 23rd Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities has convened its 23rd regular meeting at the NIHR’s Headquarters in the Seef District under the chairpersonship of D. Malallah Al-Hammadi, and membership of Mrs. Hala Ramzi and D. Hooreya Hassan.
The Committee opened its agenda by reviewing its previous resolutions and recommendations and the actions taken thereupon. During the meeting, the Committee discussed the outcomes of the two undeclared visit conducted by it to the Correction and Rehabilitation Centre and the Dry Dock Pretrial Detention Centre (Young Convicts Department).
