Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee Holds its 11th Regular Meeting

The NIHR Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee held its fifth ordinary meeting on Monday, 27 January 2014 at the NIHR’s headquarters in the Seef District headed by H.E. Dr. Fawzeya Saed Al Saleh. The meeting was attended by Committee Members HE Dr. Mai Suleiman Al Otaibi and H.E. Mr. Abdul-Jabar Ahmed Al Tayeb
The Committee resumed its discussion about holding an international conference for education & training in field of human rights in the time of crisis. In addition, the Committee looked at the arrangements related to the participation of a NIHR’s delegation at the session during which the third report of Kingdom of Bahrain will be discussed before Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), which will be held at the Palais des Nations (Geneva) on 11 February 2014.
