NIHR Organizes Awareness Lectures in Cooperation with the International School of Choueifat
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of human rights among young people, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), in cooperation with the International School of Choueifat, organized four awareness lectures for elementary school students under the titles “The Human Rights Leader” and “My Rights and Responsibilities”, with the participation of more than 200 students.
The lectures were delivered by Dr. Hooria Abbas Aldairi, Child Rights Commissioner at the NIHR, along with a group of volunteer experts from the “Friends of the Commissioner for the Rights of the Child” team, who enriched the sessions with simplified, interactive content suitable for the targeted age group.
These lectures aimed to instill the concepts of rights and responsibilities among students and to promote positive leadership and active citizenship, in line with the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
