NIHR Chairman Receives MP Sayed Fallah Hashim
Eng. Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received at his office at the NIHR’s headquarters MP Sayed Fallah Hashim, member of the Council of Representatives, commending the members of the Council of Representatives’ attention to human rights issues, appreciating the House of Representatives’ cooperation with the NIHR by strengthening legislation and laws concerned with human rights, to ensure best practices in the human rights field.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern, as well as a number of topics related to the developments of the human rights file, and the role of the NIHR in this regard.
For his part, MP Sayed Fallah Hashim praised the human rights responsibility and the national role of the NIHR, stressing the Council of Representatives’ support for its professional work, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made by the Chairman and members of the Council of Commissioners.
