NIHR Chairperson Receives Australian Ambassador Accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Resident in Riyadh
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received H.E. Mr. Miles Armitage, Australian Ambassador accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and resident in Riyadh, as part of an introductory visit to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
At the outset of the meeting, Alderazi welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic duties. He emphasized the importance of strengthening communication, cooperation, and the exchange of expertise, particularly on matters related to the protection and promotion of human rights.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and explored opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the field of human rights. They also exchanged views on recent regional developments and issues and their implications for human rights.
