NIHR Organizes a Field Visit for the Friends of the Child Rights Commissioner to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

As part of the “Influential Child Rights Leaders” program, launched in cooperation with FranklinCovey Education – Middle East, the “Smile” initiative, and the Al-Kawhaji Charity Foundation, under the slogan “It’s Your Right,” the National Institution for Human Rights organized a field visit for the Friends of the Child Rights Commissioner to the Human Rights Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation was received by Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Arwa Hassan Al-Sayyed, Chief of Human Rights Affairs Sector at the Ministry, who gave an introductory presentation on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s most notable achievements in protecting child rights. Interactive activities were also organized to familiarize attendees with the articles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the importance of safeguarding children’s dignity and ensuring their best interests.
This visit comes within the framework of implementing the National Human Rights Plan (2022–2026), which underscores the importance of engaging all segments of society, particularly children, in fostering and promoting a culture of human rights.
