NIHR Receives a number of Officers of the Royal Police Academy

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) received at its headquarters in Seef district a number of officers participating in the course for recently graduated officers from the Royal Police Academy, with the aim of informing them about the NIHR’s work and services provided in the field of promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Dr. Iman Ali Al-Abo, Head of the NIHR Call and Complaints Centre, gave a lecture on the NIHR’s role in promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in which she dealt with the historical development and legal framework of the NIHR, and its mechanism of action in the Kingdom of Bahrain in accordance with its Establishment Law.  She also presented a detailed explanation of the NIHR’s mechanism for receiving and analysing complaints and working to find appropriate solutions in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
