Eng. Ali Ahmad Alderazi, the Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Ms. Elizabeth Hatting, the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States.
During the meeting, Alderazi outlined the efforts made by NIHR in the field of human rights protection and the promotion of its culture in the kingdom. The two sides discussed a number of topics of mutual interest and ways to cooperate between NIHR and the U.S. Embassy, especially in terms of exchanging expertise and productive ideas.
Alderazi emphasized the NIHR's commitment to openness and constructive communication with both international and local entities, aiming to enhance transparency and strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation.
