NIHR’s receives the Deputy Minister of Housing
Within the framework of the cooperation of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) with the executive authority, Mr. Saeed bin Mohamed Al-Faihani, Chairperson of the NIHR, received HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing, in the presence of Mr. Abdullah Al-Derazi, Vice Chairperson of the NIHR and Mrs. Dina Al-Lazi, Head of the NIHR’s Committee on Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up, where he welcomed the Ministry of Housing undersecretary, commending the constructive cooperation and effective communication between the NIHR and the Ministry of Housing.
During the meeting, the NIHR’s Chairperson thanked the Ministry of Housing for its rapid response to the NIHR and its valuable assistance through innovative solutions to citizens to promote the right to housing, expressing his aspirations to enhance mutual cooperation between the two sides in order to solve the housing issue, considering that the adequate housing is a natural human right that is guaranteed by the Constitution as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
