NIHR Chairperson Receives UK Deputy Ambassador
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Her Excellency Ms. Fiona Walker Doyle, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the NIHR headquarters in the Seef District.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation in the promotion and protection of human rights, exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, and highlighted the NIHR’s ongoing efforts in fulfilling its mandate in accordance with its founding law.
For her part, Ms. Doyle expressed her appreciation for the important role played by the NIHR, affirming her country’s commitment to supporting the institution in achieving its objectives and carrying out its responsibilities.
