NIHR Receives Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Ms. Fiona Walker Doyle, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the NIHR headquarters in Al-Seef District.

During the meeting, the Chairperson welcomed the Deputy Ambassador, praising the fruitful cooperation between the Institution and the British Embassy, particularly in areas related to the protection and promotion of human rights. Alderazi emphasized the importance of continued coordination and exchange of expertise between the two sides to support national and international efforts in consolidating human rights principles and promoting their culture.

For her part, Ms. Doyle expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the Chairperson and members of the NIHR for their efforts to strengthen the human rights framework in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She reaffirmed the UK Embassy's keenness to continue cooperation with the Institution on issues of mutual interest, in a manner that enhances the shared values and interests of both sides.
