NIHR receives Ombudsman Secretary-General
Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) HE Mr. Saeed bin Mohamed Al-Faihani received in his office in Seef District HE Ombudsman Secretary-General Mr. Nawaf Mohamed Al-Maawda, in the presence of HE Ombudsman Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Osama Al-Asfoor.
The two sides discussed the most significant efforts recently made by the NIHR and the Ombudsman General Secretariat in terms of serving the public in their fields of work within an institutional action system that promotes respect for human rights principles.
The two sides agreed to extend bridges of cooperation in areas of common interest in terms of protection and enhancement of the human rights heritage in order to secure the rights and freedoms for the progress and renaissance of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
