Subcommittee Holds Its Second Meeting
The subcommittee tasked with documenting the human rights and humanitarian implications resulting from the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain held its second meeting, chaired by Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR). During the meeting, the proposed methodology for preparing the report was discussed and approved.
Discussions focused on standardizing the report preparation process based on a clear methodology grounded in rigorous legal analysis, in a manner that enhances the credibility of its outputs and supports their reliance before the competent authorities.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of relying on credible sources, verifying the accuracy of information, and professionally documenting violations in a way that highlights their impact on various fundamental rights, including the rights to life, health, and education.
In this context, tasks were distributed among specialized teams of Commissioners, with the aim of preparing a comprehensive report that accurately reflects the situation and provides substantive human rights recommendations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Alderazi affirmed the committee’s full commitment to the principles of transparency and professionalism, contributing to strengthening efforts aimed at the promotion and protection of human rights.
