Bahrain Institute for Political Development honors NIHR Secretariat-General employee for winning first place in a writing contest on political discourse

HE Mr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, honored Sheikha Ahmed Alolaiwi , a legal researcher at the Department of Legal Affairs at NIHR for winning first place in a writing contest on political discourse. The contest, targeting youth, is held annually with a different theme announced each year. This year’s aim was to raise the spirit of free and fair competition among this peer group and urge them to promote political awareness and human rights. The competition also aims to highlight their role in accomplishing the goals of the community and spreading the values of the reform project.

The winner expressed her delight at winning this competition which she said has motivated her to continue to work hard. In addition, Shaikha commented that the highly conducive environment at NIHR and the continuous support and encouragement from its Commissioners and Management were key factors to her success in this contest.
