NIHR Chairperson and German Ambassador Discuss Cooperation
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received H.E. Mr. Henning Georg Simon, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He welcomed the Ambassador and commended the cooperative relations between the Institution and the German Embassy, noting their continuous development in a manner that supports and strengthens the human rights system, reflecting the bonds of friendship between the two friendly peoples.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation, particularly in implementing technical programs and workshops targeting personnel working in civil society organizations, in a way that contributes to strengthening their capacities in the field of human rights.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Chairperson for the warm reception, affirming his country’s commitment to further strengthening joint cooperation, including the development of qualitative programs and initiatives, particularly in technical fields related to human rights, reflecting the depth of the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
