She emphasized the importance of prevention, early identification of exploitation cases, strengthening reporting and protection mechanisms, and raising awareness of digital risks. She also underscored the importance of involving children in matters affecting their rights, while ensuring that their best interests remain a primary consideration. Furthermore, she stressed the need for coordinated national and regional efforts to strengthen and sustain child protection systems.

NIHR’s participation in the forum reflects its commitment to strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise with relevant national and regional stakeholders, supporting efforts to combat trafficking in persons, and advancing child rights protection mechanisms, thereby contributing to the promotion of human rights principles and the preservation of human dignity.
