The Arab Observatory for Human Rights has commended the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to promote human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain which earned it an advanced level at the Arab, regional and international level.

This came during the signing of a joint cooperation agreement in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, between the Arab Observatory for Human Rights and the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR).

The Arab Observatory for Human Rights affirmed keenness on boosting cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in the human rights field given the kingdom’s honorable record in this regard. It underscored the need for a unified Arab stance in international gatherings to confront biased campaigns and reports issued by foreign parties on human rights in the Arab countries, which are based on false information.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was concluded under the chairmanship of Arab Parliament Speaker and Arab Observatory Board of Trustees Chairman, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, and NIHR Board Chairman, Ali Al Derazi.
