The National Institution for Human Rights Receives a Delegation from the U.S. Congress Staff

Eng. Ali Ahmad Alderazi, the Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), along with several members of the Council of Commissioners, welcomed a delegation from the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate as part of their official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Alderazi greeted the delegation and provided them with a detailed presentation on the efforts of NIHR to monitor and enhance the state of human rights in the kingdom, highlighting the importance the institution places on fostering effective communication with various parties at both regional and international levels.

During the visit, the delegation was shown a visual presentation that outlined the role that NIHR plays in promoting and protecting human rights, based on the powers entrusted to it by its law. Alderazi also reviewed the advisory role of NIHR in making recommendations related to human rights.
