NIHR Celebrates Bahraini Women’s Day
On the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day, which is celebrated annually on the first of December, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) organized a celebration attended by Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the NIHR, and Mr. Yasser Ghanem Shaheen, Secretary-General. During the event, the NIHR honored the female staff of the General Secretariat in recognition of their outstanding efforts in supporting the Institution’s work and strengthening its role in fulfilling its mandate and functions.
During the celebration, Alderazi extended his highest congratulations and blessings to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on Bahraini Women’s Day. He commended Her Royal Highness’s care and attention to advancing and empowering Bahraini women across various fields.
Alderazi expressed his appreciation and pride in the prominent role played by Bahraini women in driving national development. He emphasized the important position held by the female staff members of the NIHR, noting their competence and professionalism. He affirmed the NIHR’s commitment to supporting all efforts that enhance the status of Bahraini women and empower them to fully enjoy their rights, in recognition of their role as key partners in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development and progress. He also wished them continued success in all fields.
