NIHR Receives the Secretary-General of the International Communities Organisation in the United Kingdom
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received at the NIHR’s Headquarters in the Seef District Mr. James Holmes, Secretary-General of the International Communities Organisation (ICO) in the United Kingdom, accompanied by Ms. Sedika Masoud Ahmed, Director of Strategic Business Development at the International University of Management affiliated to the Organisation.
During the meeting, Al-Derazi reviewed the mechanism of action of the NIHR to monitor the situation of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its vital role in providing advice to the State so that it can fulfil its international and domestic obligations related to human rights, in addition to implementing human rights educational programmes for all sectors of society.
