NIHR Chairperson’s Statement on the 24th Anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women

On the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women, Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King, and to all members of the Council.
Alderazi affirmed that, since its establishment, the Supreme Council for Women has constituted a fundamental pillar in supporting the advancement of Bahraini women and in strengthening their role as a key partner in the sustainable development process witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the prosperous reign of His Majesty the King.
He also praised the significant role played by the Supreme Council for Women in the development of legislation and policies supportive of women’s rights, as well as in creating broader opportunities for their active participation across various fields, reflecting the wise leadership’s vision and its commitment to empowering Bahraini women and consolidating their presence locally, regionally, and internationally.
