20 Oct 2025

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of human rights and raise awareness of children’s rights, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) organized an awareness activity entitled “My Body Is a Red Line” for the children of Al-Najah Kindergarten, with the participation of around 130 boys and girls aged between 3 and 5 years old.

The activity was delivered in two separate sessions, each including around 60 children, in order to ensure effective interaction and facilitate the delivery of awareness messages in a simple and engaging manner suitable for the participating age group.

The event featured a simple visual presentation titled “My Body Is a Red Line”, which highlighted the importance of respecting bodily privacy and not allowing anyone to violate it. It also included a role-playing activity illustrating everyday situations in which children might face inappropriate behavior and how to respond, in addition to an awareness video and an art activity through which children expressed their understanding of the message creatively.

This initiative comes within the NIHR’s commitment to instilling values of respect and awareness of children’s rights from an early age, thereby contributing to building a generation that is conscious of its rights and responsibilities, capable of protecting itself, and confident in expressing its needs.
