NIHR Receives a Delegation of Employees of the US House of Representatives and Senate

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has held an introductory meeting with a delegation that includes several employees of the US House of Representatives and Senate, on the delegation’s official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, which was attended by several members of the Council of Commissioners, Al-Derazi briefed the delegation on the NIHR’s role in spreading, promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its efforts in following up on human rights issues in accordance with the terms of reference entrusted to it by virtue of its Establishment Law.
