The Consultative Team between NIHR and Civil Society Organizations holds its Fifth meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), chaired by Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, held the fifth meeting of the Consultative Working Group between NIHR and civil society organizations engaged in the field of human rights.
The meeting began with the adoption of the minutes of the previous session, followed by a discussion of several topics related to the protection and promotion of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Participants discussed the NIHR’s role in safeguarding the rights of workers in the private sector and emphasized the importance of developing training and awareness programs in the field of human rights, as well as enhancing cooperation with civil society organizations in this regard.
The meeting also reviewed key current human rights issues at the national level and reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue and coordination between the Institution and its civil society partners to achieve shared goals and foster a culture of human rights within the community.
