NIHR Receives US State Department Official

Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), met with Ms. Emily Bilsen, a Foreign Affairs Officer in the Office of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the U.S. State Department, at the NIHR headquarters.

At the outset of the meeting, Alderazi extended a warm welcome to Ms. Bilsen, highlighting the robust ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. Alderazi then provided an overview of the NIHR's efforts to advance and safeguard human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The two parties discussed a number of shared interests and looked into ways to improve collaboration to accomplish common goals.
