NIHR and UK Embassy Explore Partnership Prospects and Exchange of Expertise

Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received a delegation from the Embassy of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, headed by Ms. Fiona Walker Doyle, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom, in the presence of Dr. Maha Al Shihab, Child Rights Commissioner, at the NIHR headquarters in Al Seef District.

During the meeting, Ms. Doyle extended her sincere congratulations to the Chairperson and Members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners on the occasion of the Royal Order appointing them, praising their distinguished expertise, and affirming the UK Embassy’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and coordination with the NIHR on issues of mutual interest, in a manner that reinforces the common values and interests between the two sides.

For his part, Alderazi emphasized the depth of cooperation between the NIHR and the British Embassy, particularly in areas related to the protection and promotion of human rights. He stressed the importance of continuing coordination and exchanging expertise in support of joint efforts and in further developing avenues of cooperation between both parties.
