NIHR receives the Head of the International Organization for Migration Mission in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), welcomed Ms. Erica Bowers, who heads the International Organization for Migration Mission in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Dr. Hooriya Hassan, Commissioner for Children's Rights at NIHR, along with several officials from the organization.
Alderazi delineated the NIHR's role in the broader human rights sphere, particularly its commitment to advocating for the rights of migrant workers, monitoring their rights status, and educating them about their rights and responsibilities towards others.
Both parties also explored avenues of collaboration to coordinate efforts in areas concerning migrant labor and human rights with the aim of achieving shared objectives.
