President of National Institution for Human Rights receives Chairman of Parliamentary Specific Standing Committee for Youth and Sport in Council of Representatives

The President of National Institution for Human Rights received HE Ghazi Faisal Al Rahma,  Chairman of the Parliamentary Specific Standing Committee for Youth and Sport in Council of Representatives. At the beginning of the meeting, HE NIHR's President welcomed the Council's  member and commended the efforts exerted by the honorable Council of Representatives in launching and discussing the issues related to the interest of citizens and the country as well as the role played by Council members in addressing the needs of the citizens.,  especially the youth,   stressing that the NIHR cooperates with members of the Council of Representatives and is concerned with all issues they raise to serve the citizens and our dearest homeland. He also added that establishing the National Institution for Human Rights,  founded for service of our beloved homeland,  is deemed as one of the results of the reform project adopted by His Majesty the King.

NIHR President commended the constructive cooperation between the legislative power and the executive power with the NIHR to promote and protect human rights and highlight the role of Kingdom of Bahrain as model through enlightening and supporting the youth movement at the human rights and sports levels because this will strengthen youth personality.

On his part, HE Mr. Ghazi Faisal Al Rahma, Council of Representatives member,  lauded the national leading role played by the NIHR and all persons in charge thereof through the collaborative efforts exerted in addressing the human rights issues for all members of the society and its concern with human issues, stressing  that supporting and enlightening the youth by the NIHR creates a coherent society distinguished with its sound thinking and religion.

At end of the meeting, HE Mr. Ghazi Faisal Al Rahma toured the training center and the NIHR library as well as the Complaints Receiving Office. Acting Secretary General Counselor-at-Law Mr. Yasser Shaheen and Mr. Fahd Al Moala, Director of Information and Communication Technology Department attended the meeting.
