NIHR’s Chairman Meets Head of Arab Organization for Human Rights in Cairo

On the sidelines of his visit to the Arab Observatory for Human Rights (AOHR) of the Arab Parliament in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), met with Mr. Alaa Shalaby, Head of the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Cairo, where they discussed ways to enhance areas of cooperation and coordination, especially in the preparation of programs concerned with human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

It is worth mentioning that the NIHR signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Arab Organization for Human Rights in 2014, which aims at exchanging expertise, holding workshops, training and joint events in the field of promoting and protecting human rights, and taking common positions regarding the competences of the Arab Organization for Human Rights and the NIHR.
