Crown Prince and Prime Minister Receives the Twelfth Annual Report of NIHR

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to adopt initiatives that enhance human rights achievements, thereby supporting the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This came during His Royal Highness’s meeting today at Al Riffa Palace, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, with Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), and the members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners, during which the Twelfth Annual Report of the NIHR was submitted to His Royal Highness.

His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for the efforts of NIHR and the qualitative achievements it continues to accomplish under the prosperous reign of His Majesty the King. He emphasized that these achievements reflect the principles of the National Action Charter, the Constitution, relevant laws and legislation, in addition to international and regional treaties.

In turn, the Chairperson of the NIHR, along with the members of the Council of Commissioners, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his continuous support of the initiatives undertaken by the NIHR, which contribute to strengthening the Kingdom of Bahrain’s accomplishments in the field of human rights.
