NIHR's Council of Commissioners Convenes It's 6th Ordinary Meeting

The Council of Commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) convened its sixth meeting at NIHR's head office at the Seef District under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdul Aziz Hassan Abul. The NIHR's Council of Commissioners endorsed a proposal to amend the Nationality Law in favour of granting the Bahraini woman an equal right as man regarding the nationality of her children, which is to be submitted to the concerned authorities.
The Council of Commissioners also discussed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by NIHR and the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Environment Friends Society. Moreover, the NIHR's Council of Commissioners reviewed the monthly report on complaints received by NIHR as well as requests of assistance.
