NIHR Organizes an Introductory Lecture to Governorates’ Staff

Within the framework of its role aimed at disseminating and promoting awareness of human rights principles for all segments of society, and in implementation of its strategy and action plan in cooperation with its partners from various sides, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) organized a virtual lecture on its role in the promotion and protection of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, targeting various provincial employees in the Kingdom.

The lecture was presented by Dr. Bader Mohamed Adel, member of the NIHR Council of Commissioners, in which he addressed a number of themes that touched upon the definition of the NIHR’s law, the services it provides to citizens and residents in the area of human rights, and the legal framework of the NIHR.  He also introduced other national mechanisms related to the protection and promotion of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
